Smooth Service:

It is our aim to complete all transactions as quickly and smoothly as possible.

In many cases where items are in stock and paid for before 3pm on a weekday, they have been received the following day. We don't charge any more for this efficient service - it just comes naturally!

We respond to e-mails (in person) as soon as we receive them and we don't operate a call-centre. We'll keep you informed of your order's progress at every stage.

Placing an order:

Via PayPal with:

You can either use the shopping basket facility with your credit card or PayPal account, or send an e-mail with details about the items you require, your address, and your preferred payment method (cheque, postal orders, paypal or cash in person). Or, you can use the Printable Order Form.

Paying via credit card / PayPal is very secure - look out for the padlock in the shopping basket window indicating that the information in that window is encrypted. Check out PayPal's website for more information.

We don't accept credit card payments via telephone.

in stock

Where you see "in stock" next to an item, it indicates that the item is reported as being in stock.

If you order an item but it turns out that it is not in stock you will be notified. It can take up to five working days for items to become available but every effort is made to get items to you as quickly as possible.

BMH Computers does not operate a warehouse and so large quantities of all items are not generally kept in stock.

If a stock value is given this is only meant as a guide. If you order more than one of a particular item, for example, you will be contacted if the quantity you require is not currently in stock.

You are welcome to enquire about purchasing more than one of a particular item.

When you see this next to an item, it indicates that the item is not in stock but will be ordered upon request from one of our suppliers when you order it from us. It can take up to 5 working days for us to obtain these items but please be assured that we act swiftly to fulfill all orders and we will keep you informed of the progress at every step along the way - we will contact you to acknowledge your order and notify you of when we expect to receive these items and we will contact you again when we received the items and sent them on to you.

Sometimes items available for order turn out to be unavailable from our suppliers or they may be awaiting shipment from the manufacturer - in this instance you will be notified promptly to offer you some options, such as an alternative item, to ask if you are prepared to wait a bit longer or offer you a refund.

Occasionally items can be delayed or another problem can cause a delay in your order. In this instance we will notify you on the 5th working day to apologise. We will also give you the option to cancel your order.

You are always welcome to get in touch to check availability or ask how long a particular item may take to arrive.

Postage and Packaging / Delivery:

On all items where you see the button, to make ordering online as simple as possible, the amount in the basket includes postage and packaging. If an item doesn't have this button then it is not currently available for purchase via the website but can be ordered and collected from the store at a pre-arranged time. If you would like to pay for an item via PayPal that doesn't have this button, please get in touch.

Items can only be sent to addresses in the UK unless requested prior to placing an order.

How quickly will I get my ordered item?

If your items are in stock they are usually dispatched the same working day your payment is received (and cleared) providing your order is received before 3pm on a week day and there are no queries.

Larger, bulkier or heavier orders may be dispatched a day later if the use of a courier is required instead of Royal Mail. Used and refurbished parts will be available after a day as they may be in use and require preparing. If items need to be ordered (this can take up to 5 working days) you will be notified.

Small items such as ink cartridges, case fans, fan guards, cold cathode kits etc. are sent via Royal Mail 1st Class to get them to you as quickly as possible. Larger, heavier, or more valuable items may be sent via either Royal Mail Standard Parcels, by a courier, or via Recorded Delivery at our discretion (you are welcome to request the use of a preferred delivery method).

We will notify you when your order is dispatched.

A delay in posting may occur if we have a query, such as insufficient address details or if multiple items are purchased and one is out of stock - we may want to ask you if you want them all posted together for example. If we receive no response after a day we may choose to cancel your order and refund you rather than risk sending out an order with a mistake.

Where you see this next to an item it indicates that the item is only available for purchase in store. This may be because it is not practical for the item to be posted, postage costs would make the online purchase of a particular item impractical or because the item is out of stock. Sometimes an item may not be compatible with all systems and as such will only be sold in store when installed by ourselves.
