Hard Drive Cooler:
This twin-fan cooler mounts to the under-side
of a 3.5" desktop hard drive and is powered by a standard molex
connector.
- The temperature
of a hard drive is often overlooked and since the drives often
store all of our files, if it fails it can be devastating. Keeping
the drive cool can help to prolong its life and prevent if from
getting too hot. (it is no substitute for regular backups).
Tip: Use in conjunction with a
fan
controller. |

Protect Your Data |
|
You
should never rely on a hard drive (or any storage device) to
protect all your data. Hard drives are mechanical and thus
will fail at some point (new or old) so always keep backups.
An
external hard drive is ideal for data backup, but don't leave
it plugged in. A power surge could damage your
computer and damage anything connected to it or plugged into the
mains.
Do
regular backups and keep them somewhere safe - in a separate
room or building.
Make
an appointment
for us to
visit your premises and discuss suitable back routines and
security measures.

We have a stock of used hard
drives. The previous owner's data is removed and a full health
check and error scan is carried out on each drive to confirm
they are fit for purpose. These drives are then sold with a
six month RTB hardware warranty.
